Neptune Nursery in Palm City, Florida is looking to hire a driver with a CDL A License who will be in charge of picking up products for the nursery (e.g., rocks, mulch, sod, plants, palms, etc.) as well as helping with local deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Driven, positive attitude, team player, self-starter, and career-oriented workers.
Able to haul sod pallets, mulch, palms, plants, rocks, sand, soil, and etc.
Able to operate semi-trucks, tractor trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds.
Able to listen, have open and effective communication with office and customers.
Able to use a cell phone, text messaging and GPS.
Collecting and loading stock in a manner that prevents breakage.
Ensuring that the trucks have sufficient fuel at all times, and they are safe to operate as well reporting any issues they may raise.
Informing office of potential delays.
Delivering stock to clients on or before each deadline.
Able to drive/use a piggyback machine.

Requirement:

5+ experience and has experience hauling sod (not required but preferred).
Driver/Chofer with CDL A at a Nursery.
Able to drive or quickly learn how to use a forklift and piggyback.
Comfortable using GPS equipment.
Ensuring that you are always fit to maneuver the truck.
Compliance with all road and transport rules.

Job Type: Fulltime.
Salary: $18.00-$20.00/weekly. Pay will depend on experience.
