Neptune Nursery in Palm City, Florida, is looking for a sales associate to join our growing Team!
The ideal candidate must have experience working in a nursery, and possesses the following qualities: positive personality, hard worker, self-starter, great customer service skills, able to use register, count money, retain information, complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, team player, flexible, good with sales, and reliable.
A Horticulture Degree is a plus.
Some duties include:
- Taking care of plants and palms.
- Help with watering plants at the nursery.
- Maintaining and cutting back plants.
- Knowledge of the sod, plants, palms, mulch and materials we sell.
- Organizing the office (e.g., answering calls, assisting customers with plants, rocks, pottery, taking deliveries, managing orders, drivers, plant material, ordering materials for the nursery, keeping offices clean, etc.).
- Help co-workers with different nursery tasks.
- Posting on social media.
- Miscellaneous duties.
Skills Required:
- Able to use a register, computer, WORD, Google Docs, iPhone, and count money.
- Being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- Horticulture Degree/Knowledge (knows their plants and palms, etc).
Please do NOT apply if you can't work weekends:
- Monday-Friday, the hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Saturday the hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Sundays, the hours are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
